About Dr Cohen

Dr. Nicky Cohen is a Clinical Psychologist based in Toronto, and registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She has over 20 years of experience supporting families. Dr. Cohen helps parents understand the science of sleep and implement gentle, evidence-based strategies to foster healthy sleep habits in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. She has been quoted in parenting magazines and provides psychoeducational material to parenting organizations.

Other areas of professional interest include the assessment and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders including depression, social anxiety, phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, in adults.

Dr. Cohen earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from York University. She has held positions at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, University Health Network (Toronto General Hospital), and the Hospital for Sick Children.
